Post-Quantum Cryptography Readiness Quantum-safe before it’s urgent.

Data stolen today can be decrypted tomorrow. We inventory your cryptography, rank what must move first, and migrate you to NIST’s post-quantum standards without breaking production.

A structured program to move your cryptography to post-quantum standards before quantum computers can break it.

Offset Security finds every place your organization relies on cryptography, ranks what is most exposed, and migrates it to NIST’s standardized algorithms, ML-KEM, ML-DSA, and SLH-DSA, with crypto-agility built in.

Why it matters

Attackers are harvesting encrypted data now to decrypt later.

RSA and elliptic-curve cryptography protect almost every connection, signature, and key you rely on, and a capable quantum computer will break both. NIST’s transition plan deprecates them from 2030 and disallows them by 2035, and migrations of this size take years. Data with a long shelf life is already at risk.

What we deliver

  • Cryptographic inventory (CBOM)

Every algorithm, certificate, key, and library across code, infrastructure, and vendors, with owners and the data each one protects.

  • Quantum risk prioritization

Systems ranked by data shelf life, exposure, and migration effort, so the first year of work goes where the risk is.

  • Hybrid migration

Classical plus post-quantum key exchange and signatures piloted and rolled out with interoperability and rollback tested.

  • Crypto-agility & governance

Policy, procurement requirements, and architecture patterns that make future algorithm changes routine.

How the engagement runs.

  1. 01

    Weeks 1-3

    Cryptographic Discovery & Inventory

Automated discovery across source code, certificates, TLS endpoints, VPNs, HSMs, PKI, and third-party libraries, combined with owner interviews to find the cryptography scanners miss. Every algorithm, key length, and protocol is recorded with its owner and the data it protects.

    Deliverables

    • Cryptographic Bill of Materials (CBOM)
    • Map of RSA and ECC dependencies by system
  2. 02

    Weeks 3-5

    Quantum Risk Assessment

Each system is scored on the shelf life of its data, its exposure to harvest-now-decrypt-later collection, and how hard it is to migrate. Long-lived sensitive data and internet-facing key exchange usually move first.

    Deliverables

    • Prioritized quantum risk register
    • Executive briefing on exposure and timelines
  3. 03

    Weeks 5-8

    Migration Roadmap & Crypto-Agility Design

A target architecture using hybrid key exchange (classical plus ML-KEM) where supported, a certificate and PKI transition plan, vendor readiness checks, and crypto-agility patterns so the next algorithm change is configuration, not a rewrite.

    Deliverables

    • Phased roadmap aligned to NIST’s 2030 and 2035 milestones
    • Vendor PQC readiness assessment
  4. 04

    Per phase

    Pilot & Controlled Migration

Post-quantum algorithms are piloted on a bounded scope, typically external TLS, VPN, or code signing, with performance, interoperability, and rollback tested before wider rollout.

    Deliverables

    • Pilot results and performance baseline
    • Rollout and rollback runbooks
  5. 05

    Ongoing

    Governance & Continuous Assurance

Cryptographic policy, procurement clauses that require PQC support, a CBOM kept current as systems change, and regular progress reporting to leadership and regulators.

    Deliverables

    • Cryptographic policy and standards
    • Quarterly migration progress report

Every engagement begins with a discovery call.
