Why we exist

Our mission is simple: offset the risk that holds growth back. We exist so that a fast-moving business can take its next big swing - a new market, a new platform, a new acquisition - without lying awake wondering who's watching the perimeter while they sleep.

Our story

It started on the other side of the incident.

Offset was founded by people who spent years building the systems they now defend - software engineers, infrastructure leads, and SOC analysts who had been on the receiving end of the 6 PM Friday ransomware call. We knew the feeling of staring at a vendor dashboard glowing green while the business quietly burned.

We got tired of an industry that sells platforms and calls it protection. A login is not a security department. A status light is not judgment. So we built the team we always wished we could call - one that understands the code beneath the alert, embeds controls from day zero, and treats your environment like its own.

Today that team runs continuous defense and co-managed IT for organizations in healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and government - the places where downtime isn't an inconvenience, it's a headline. The name says the rest: we offset risk, so our clients can enable growth.
